Around 2:40 yesterday afternoon, the Washington County Safety Center received a report of a mobile home fire.  The trailer house at 2871 130th Street in Riverside belonging to Terry Lehmkuhl was reported to be fully engulfed in flames.  The Riverside Fire Department was dispatched and the Kalona Fire Department was called for mutual aid.

Also responding to the scene was Washington County Ambulance Service and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.  No injuries were reported and the Red Cross has responded to assist Lehmkuhl.

The fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall and KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
