New members have been chosen to the National Honor Society at the Washington High School.  Three seniors and 19 juniors were elected to membership.  Those chosen all have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher.

They also are considered on the basis of character, leadership and service.  The local chapter of The American Association of University Women will hold a reception for these new members and their parents at the Presbyterian Church on Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
