The Washington County Extension is offering an Ornamental and Turfgrass Applicators course for commercial pesticide applicators next week.  Nancy Adrian with the Washington County Extension says this course is for professionals who do yard work and those who need certification in categories 2, 3O, 3T, 3OT and 10.

She says the class will talk about equipment calibration and safe application techniques, pesticide labels, pesticide stewardship, and updates on Iowa insect, disease and turfgrass updates.

She says the class begins at 1:30 Wednesday, the 7th.  For more information regarding this class, contact the Washington County Extension.
