An upcoming training session that will focus on emergency preparedness and response for public health emergencies is planned for next month.
Edie Nebel with Washington County Public Health says members of the County’s Local Emergency Planning Committee, hospital staff and public health personnel are invited to this training.
Nebel says topics like being personally prepared, food safety, and ethics in disasters are part of the Iowa Preparedness and Response Training Summit. The conference will be in Des Moines next month. For more information, contact Washington County Public Health.
