Nomination papers can begin being submitted for various county positions for the June 5th Primary Election on Monday.  County Auditor Daniel Widmer says there are three seats on the Washington County Board of Supervisors, as well as the offices of County Auditor and County Sheriff on the ballot.  Widmer says all of these positions will serve four-year terms.

The nomination papers and any accompanying affidavit of candidacy may be filed in the County Auditor’s Office beginning Monday and the deadline is 5:00, the 28th.  For more information, contact Washington County Auditor Daniel Widmer.

The incumbents for these offices are Supervisor Jim Miksch in District 1, Supervisor Wes Rich in District 2 and Supervisor Adam Mangold in District 4.  Daniel Widmer is the current office holder for Auditor and Jerry Dunbar is the current Sheriff.
