The Kalona City Council is holding their regular meeting tonight. They will be discussing with the public the proposed purchase of the B4 Building, which currently houses Grandma’s Corner Shop. The city wants to turn the building into a “well defined public space”. They will also hear a second reading of a gas franchise agreement with Interstate Power and Light Company. The discussion of new FEMA Mapping will continue at this meeting after being discussed in several previous meetings. They will receive a TIF Application for Stables Subdivision as well. The meeting begins at 7:30 tonight.
