Two people have been arrested near Wellman after a search warrant was conducted.  According to the Washington County Safety Center, SWAT Teams from both the city of Washington and Washington County executed the warrant at 1439 Fir Avenue near Wellman.

Arrested were 44 year old Kurt James Brookhart of Wellman and 47 year old Tony Henry Young of Yuma, Arizona.

Both have been charged with felony possession with intent to deliver, manufacturing a controlled substance of marijuana which is also a felony as well as drug tax stamp violation.  The case is still being investigated.  KCII will bring you more information when it becomes official.
