The Washington City Council is meeting tonight to discuss the fiscal year 2013 budget.  City Administrator Brent Hinson says this public hearing is required to be held by the state.  He says the public is invited to comment on the budget during a public hearing.

Hinson notes the entire budget is available for viewing at City Hall prior to tonight’s meeting.  The council will also be passing a resolution to approve this budget.

Also during tonight’s meeting will be discussion of a loan agreement of general obligation capital loan notes not to exceed $250,000.  The city council will meet tonight at 6:00 in the old public library.
