A number of local artists were honored Monday night at the 2012 Cedar Valley Conference Art Show. Four of the nearly twenty students from Mid-Prairie High School took home an award. Junior Taylor Foster placed third in both mixed media and drawing.

Senior Amanda Kramer received second in painting, while fellow senior Taylor Troyer received third in that category.  The students from Mid-Prairie are all enrolled in Erin Kirchoff’s AP art class.

This years class is the biggest since it was started by Kirchoff six years ago.
