The chilly weather Saturday morning didn’t stop a great number of children from taking part in the annual Washington Kiwanis AMers Easter Egg Hunt.

Children from preschool through sixth grade looked through the grounds of Sunset Park for lots of Easter candy. Kiwanis member Pat Smith says it takes some time to get ready for the event, but it’s worth the effort.

As for the excitement of the event, William Peterson who took part in the first and second grade section talks about the kinds of candy he was able to find.
