Southeast Iowa will be receiving a visit from two Government officials on Tuesday.  Governor Terry Branstad and Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds are scheduled to hold a town hall meeting at the Washington Public Library to promote their plan for permanent property tax relief.

The purpose of the plan is to save Iowa taxpayers over one billion dollars in property taxes over the next eight years.

The public is invited to this town hall meeting to hear more on Tuesday afternoon starting at 12:30.  This town hall meeting will be held in the upstairs meeting rooms of the Washington Public Library.  To find out more information about the tax relief plan, look here.
