About 30 people were in attendance to hear about property tax reform at the Washington Public Library yesterday.  Governor Terry Branstad and Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds presented their plan for permanent property tax relief.  The purpose of this plan is to save Iowa taxpayers over one billion dollars in property taxes over the next eight years.

Both the Governor and Lieutenant Governor are sending this message to all 99 counties and are challenging the citizens of the state to tell their elected officials to support this plan.
