As previously reported by KCII, on March 17th the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received reports of possible human remains found on Old Highway 34. The remains were found by two children riding bicycles in the area. The remains were sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office where they were examined by a forensic anthropologist. The remains have now been identified as female. The examination determined the female in question was between 24 and 32 years of age, and between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall. KCII will continue to follow this story as the remains go to the Department of Criminal Investigation’s crime lab for DNA Testing
