The Iowa Mennonite girls track team competed in the A class of the Ruth Ahrens invitational in Marengo yesterday against some much bigger schools and although they finished seventh in the meet, IMS was still able to score some points and take away some positives from the events.  The wind was in the face of the jumpers, but Michaela Prihoda had a long jump of 12’ 9” for fourth place while Anya Slabaugh jumped 4’8” in the high jump, good enough for sixth.  Prihoda also earned a sixth place in the 100 meter dash covering the distance in 14.34 seconds. Riley Schmieder recorded a personal best time in the 100 meter hurdles and Jamilya Masylbekova did the same in the 1500 meter run.  IMS is off until next Tuesday when they travel to Durant.
