IMS boys soccer team remained unbeaten and Highland’s coed team picked up their fourth win on Tuesday.

The IMS soccer team knocked off 9th-ranked Burlington Notre Dame 3-0 yesterday behind an early goal that would prove to be the game-winner from Matt Libby.  Tommy Rhodes added another tally with 2:30 left in the first half to give IMS the 2-0 halftime lead.  They made it 3-0 in the final minute of play on Zach Weiss’ first varsity goal as keeper Ben Brenneman posted the shutout.  IMS improves to 4-0 and returns to action Thursday when they host Highland.

The Huskies posted a 14-1 win at Wapello Tuesday night behind four goal games from Mitchel Kasdorf and Cameron Vinsand.  Jesse Klopfer added three scores and two assists and Josh Brace punched in two goals and had the helper on two more.  Highland improved their record to 4-2.
