For the first time in the last two years, IMS was able to get a win on the pitch at Burlington Notre Dame, coming away with a hard fought 2-0 win. Matt Libby served up a cross to Tommy Rhodes for the volley and goal to make it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Justin Boller pounced on a loose ball in the box and sent it into the net with five minutes remaining in the game to essentially put the game away and give IMS the 2-0 win to move their record to 7-1 and 6-0 in conference play.
IMS hosts a tournament tomorrow with the first game slated for a 10:00 kickoff and immediately following that game, at approximately 11:15, a dedication ceremony will take place for the Jason Marner Memorial dugouts.
