This month’s Learn at Lunch meeting is discussing the topic of picking snacks.  Michelle Peiffer with the Washington Chamber says Amy Green with the Washington County Extension will talk about the Pick a Better Snack program.  She will also give information about the goal of the program which is to realize that picking a better snack is healthy as well as easy.

The Workplace Learning Connection is sponsoring this program.  The Learn at Lunch is happening on Monday from noon to 1:00 pm at the ISU Extension Office.  The cost is $8 for Chamber members and $10 for non-chamber members.  Reservations are due today by contacting Pat Dessner at pdessner@msn.com or 563-260-2068.
