This month’s Learn at Lunch meeting is discussing the topic of picking snacks.  Michelle Peiffer with the Washington Chamber says those coming will hear from Amy Green with the Washington County Extension who will share about the Pick a Better Snack program.

She will also give information about the goal of the program which is to realize that picking a better snack is healthy as well as easy.  The Workplace Learning Connection is sponsoring this program.

The Learn at Lunch is happening Monday the 30th from noon to 1:00 pm at the ISU Extension Office.  The cost is $8 for Chamber members and $10 for non-chamber members.  Reservations are due next Friday by contacting Pat Dessner at 563-260-2068 or email pdessner@msn.com.
