The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks look to push their record to 2-0 tonight when they host a familiar foe in West Liberty. Golden Hawk head coach Neil Yoder joined us on the PM Sports Page last night and talked about Mid-Prairie’s struggles against the Comets in the past, but after winning their opener last week, Yoder hope his team carries some confidence into this one and focuses on the keys to the game.

“We gotta keep pressure on the ball.  We’ve got to be able to attack, sometime the best defense is a good offense.  If we’re able to hold the ball and push them back we can have a good outing.  This will be our first real test.  If we can (beat) West Liberty that will give us a lot of confidence going into the rest of the season.  They’re supposed to be real good this year.  I havn’t seen them play yet but I know they’ll be a great test.”

The test starts tonight at 4:30 in Wellman.
