Mid-Prairie FFA Receives State Honor

The Mid-Prairie FFA Chapter is in Des Moines attending festivities, competitions and ceremonies surrounding the Iowa State FFA Convention. Depending on the activity, students had to pass through several levels of competition to reach this point including sub-district presentations and district showings, other categories are judged just on a statewide level. The Mid-Prairie High School FFA chapter will also be recognized as the #8 ranked chapter in the state of Iowa.

Students from Mid-Prairie participating include Alisa Adrian, Sarah Altenhofen, Sydney Bowlin, Jess Butters, Zeb Fisher, Michelle Flanegan,Tayler Foster, Jossie Harland, Jared Gent, Ashley Goll, Cody Knepp, Brody Miller, Jenna Miller, Kyle Mullet, Jessica Schrock, Riley Sieren, Tommy Stumpf, Chase Stutzman, Abe Troyer, and Mason Wiles.

The students arrived in Des Moines yesterday for the convention and will stay through its conclusion tomorrow.
