The Washington Chamber of Commerce announced yesterday morning they have chosen a new director.  The board has hired Michelle Peiffer as their new executive director.  She is a graduate of Washington High School and started for the Chamber in October working part time as Marketing Coordinator.

Chamber Board President Greg Woller says Peiffer brings to Chamber her experience of marketing, communications and use of Social Media to the citizens of Washington as a way to spread the word of different events happening in the community.

Peiffer’s first day as Director will be Monday and she replaces Tim Coffey who left the end of last month to become the executive director of the Chamber in Clear Lake.
