The Washington County Engineer’s Office is reminding residents that today is the deadline for getting a dust control permit in the county.  Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius says permits can be obtained through any of the pre-approved contractors for $50.  He notes an additional $50 late fee will be charged for any applications received after today.

Thorius says residents should turn in their application and payment to their contractor as well as keep their dust control locations marked until the first of October.
