The Demon boys’ track team had a good showing in Williamsburg yesterday, and once again it was the relay teams making the biggest impact. The 4×200 team of Kyle Roder, Carl Silvis, Parker Turner, and Jake Redlinger finished with the top time of 1:35:08. Colin Steele, Jacob Hennigan, Amando Mercilino, and Mavrick Goodwin finished second in the shuttle relay, setting a person best time of 1:03:05 and the 4×800 team of Matt Kuntz, Noah Lebsack, Brad Skubal, and Spencer Woods locked down a second place finish as well.
Individually, Washington got second place finishes from Steele in the high hurdles (15:09) and Redlinger in the high jump (5’ 10”). Parker Turner finished in second as well in the 100 meter dash (11:06) with Carl Sivels finishing right behind him in third.
Washington track is back in action Thursday when they host the Demon Relays.
