Shoe donations are being received for the Soles for Souls project at various locations around Washington.  This project was started when Highland High School Student Morgan Fisher came across the project on the Internet and after talking with three of her friends the project began to send shoes to those in need.  She says so far they have received almost 3900 shoes and adds these new donations will be added to what has already been donated.

All shoes will be sent to Sheldon where they will be further distributed to other parts of the country and around the world as well.  Shoes are being collected in drop boxes around Washington until next Friday.  The different locations are:

Washington Library – by the circulation desk

Fareway – inside door by the grocery baskets

Washington Y – by the registration desk

Bodywrx – by the registration desk

HyVee – by the customer service desk
