Two area students attending college at Iowa State University have received honors for their leadership in agriculture, academic success and future in an agricultural career.  Cody Schneider, who is a junior from Riverside has received the Kiley Powers Farm Endowed Scholarship and the Clyde Black and Son Scholarship for Agriculture.

Jordan Vittetoe, a sophomore from Washington as received the Pioneer Agronomy Scholarship along with the Agronomy Travel Fellowship Scholarship for his studies and travel in Argentina in February.

These honors were presented at Gates Memorial Hall in Nevada.
