Non-profits in the Columbus area are being invited to apply for financial assistance. The United Fund of Columbus is asking area non-profits to apply for funding support for the 2012-2013 fiscal year.

United Fund of Columbus accepts applications for the funding once a year and provides support for organizations that serve Columbus Junction, Conesville and Letts area families.

The deadline for applications is Thursday, May 31, 2012 and can be emailed or dropped off at the Community Development Center office.

United Fund collects donations from individuals and businesses, but receives most of its funding through payroll deductions.
