Memorial services are being held today to honor Iowans who were killed in work-related accidents last year.  Last year 53 Iowans lost their lives while working.  Those killed last year ranged in age from 17 to 78.  Part of that list includes 10 who died while serving in the military.

Also on the list of those being remembered is Keokuk County Sheriff Deputy Eric Stein who was shot and killed last April during an incident at a rural Sigourney home owned by Jeff Krier.

These services are being held near the state capitol in Des Moines and various state and local public figures will attend.
