Iowa’s youth spring turkey season opens tomorrow and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources is passing along regulation and safety reminders.  Louisa County Conservation Officer Ben Schlader says the youth hunting season will go through Sunday, the 15th.  He says the regulations are different for youth that decide to go turkey hunting.

Bob Bellmer, Park Ranger with the Washington County Conservation Board says there are steps you can take to stay safe while hunting as well.
