The Washington County Board of Supervisors have approved a change to the County’s Zoning ordinance.  During their meeting yesterday, a second reading of a proposed amendment to the County Zoning map ordinance was held.  They waived the third reading and approved the change of reclassifying eight point eight acres of property from conservation development to commercial at the corner of Orange Avenue and 320th Street.

They also held discussion about the job opening for the county’s Outreach Director.  The job description will be posted soon and the position will be open the end of June.  The plans for remodeling Orchard Hill Building #1 were discussed as well.  The bids for the remodeling project will be opened before a future meeting.
