The body of a man found by some fishermen in Louisa County has been identified. Authorities say the body of 32 year old Lo Pi was found in the Iowa River south of the Highway 70 bridge near Columbus Junction March 31st. Pi, a refugee from Myanmar was reported missing on January 19th.
Officials from the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office, Columbus Junction Police Department and the state medical examiner’s office conducted the investigation and an autopsy was completed by the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation Crime Lab.
