With those getting ready for next month’s Primary and this fall’s elections the Washington County Engineer along with Iowa Department of Transportation is reminding campaigners of the regulations and requirements about political signs. County Engineer Jabob Thorius says there are certain rules that needed to be followed for those placing political signs.
He says this information needs to be shared with candidates, party chairs, campaign workers, and election officials to prevent sign violations.
Thorius adds anyone wanting to know more information should contact the appropriate office who is in charge of the roadway.
