The Washington girls golf team is playing their conference meet at the Washington Country club. Despite the rain, head coach Len Kull says he is very happy with the way the course looks and doesn’t think that the wetness will play a factor.

Kull says he was happy that the meet was at home, but was unsure of the confidence of his team at the start of the meet.

“It looks to me that they are really concerned and really interested in doing well,” Kull says, “but right now their nerves are showing, that is pretty evident here. We’re going to have to get this ship righted, and start playing the way we can.

The Southeast conference girls meet is being held at the Washington Country Club, and will conclude today. KCII will have results tomorrw.
