The Washington girls golf team finished in second place at the Burlington Invitational held at Flint Hills golf course. The Demons shot a team score of 370 to tie Mount Pleasant, Pleasant Valley took the team championship with a score of 335. Washington was led by meadlist Abby Threlkeld’s 86 and Megan Buitendorp’s 90. Other scores for the Demons included Emily Zehr carding 92, Shannyn Paul finished with a 102, Bryton Lumberg and Lauren Roberts both shot 104 to round out the Demon scoring. The Washington girls golf team will next be in action Thursday at the Ottumwa Invitational.
