USDA’s Iowa Farm Service Agency is reminding producers that the deadline for enrolling in certain programs is coming shortly.
John Whitaker is urging those interested in enrolling in the 2012 Direct and Counter-Cyclical Program, Average Crop Revenue Election Program and the Supplemental Revenue Assistance Program should do so before June 1st. All signatures of producers receiving DCP or ACRE payments are required by the 1st. The election for ACRE can be made any time before the 1st of June.
