It was a very busy night at the first Washington’s Farmers Market of the season last night. Farmers Market Master Bob Shepherd says there was a big crowd on both sides of the tables and the weather helped to contribute to that crowd. He says the warmer winter helped to add to the additional produce that was being offered.
Shepherd notes there were two vendors who had sold out of everything within 30 minutes. The Washington Farmers’ Market runs each Thursday night until the end of October.
