The local chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America has planned their annual Handicapped Fishing Day next month.  The Izaak Walton has sponsored this event since 1948.  Don Pfeiffer says this fishing day is an opportunity for a handicapped person to experience the recreation of fishing.  Poles and bait will be available for those who don’t have them.

He says a pork burger meal will be provided as well as several prizes will be awarded at the end of the event.  The fishing begins at 9:00 on Wednesday, June 6th at Marr Park.
