The City of Keota has been named the most extroverted city in America. A study performed by PYCO Inc. shows that Keota has more extroverts per capita than any other city in the United States. PYCO researchers determined the extraversion level of cities by analyzing their database of more than 181 million Americans who are 18 years or older. 61 percent of Keota residents surveyed are considered extroverts, that means they value face to face communication and keep an active involvement with people and things.
Keota Mayor Tony Cansler says that Keota’s resident’s willingness to get along and help out when others are in need are all factors that make them extroverts. Cansler hopes this will be an opportunity to show others what Keota is all about and that it will help the city continue to grow.
