The Washington County Master Gardeners are holding their plant sale tomorrow. Over twenty master gardeners will be at the Washington County Fairgrounds to help customers and they will be wearing pins to indicate they are a master gardener. According to Sheila Gerot, who has been a master gardener since 2006, this is the second year the sale has been held at the fairgrounds, to make it easier for people to load their cars.
As far as what they will be offering, Gerot says she isn’t quite sure since all the plants being sold are taken from the Master Gardeners home gardens and brought on the day of the sale. The sale begins at 8, but Gerot notes that last year they were sold out by 10:30.
