For the first time this season Coach Ryan Kohler and the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk baseball team will step outside of Cedar Valley Conference play when they battle Mt. Pleasant. Mid-Prairie stands at 2-2 on the young season. The Golden Hawk offense is averaging 11 runs per game including a 21-0 blasting of the Durant Wildcats last week. Mid-Prairie is fresh off of a 6-5 loss at previously winless North Cedar Monday night. Mt. Pleasant enters play seeking their first win after dropping a twin bill to Davenport Assumption and falling last night to Eddyville-Blakesburg 10-3. You can catch all of the action tonight with the pregame show set for 6:45 and first pitch at 7 on AM and FM KCII and KCII radio.com.
