Port Louisa National Wildlife Refuge is getting set to break ground on a new building. The building will be the Port Louisa NWR Headquarters. The building will hold visitor amenities to answer questions about the refuge and give more information on the things that they offer there. The building will also contain offices for employees.
The groundbreaking for the headquarters will take place Thursday morning starting at 10. Naturally Louisa County recommends you plan time for a hike through the refuge while you’re there.
