Mid-Prairie Superintendent Mark Schneider held a special meeting last week to look at floor plans for a new central office. An architect from Shive-Hattery was there to show the three different options for floor plans. Community Committee members split up into groups at the meeting to consider the proposals and then gave feedback on them.

The Community Committee is a group made up of around 25 people that were either recommended to Schneider or have special knowledge in certain fields.

The next meeting on the Central Office is planned for June 5th. At this meeting the architect will discuss the community committee’s options for building material and set the final plans. The committee will have to present the plans before the Board of Education before July 1st.
