The Washington Demon’s boys golf team will be playing their conference meet today in Keokuk. Head coach Mark Berhow says he expects his team to do well, although the Keokuk course is not one his team plays often.

Rain has also played a factor in the conference meet, as Washington received about four more inches of rain in the last four days than Keokuk did. Berhow says he is thankful for the driving range.

Berhow added that his team did not play the best at Keokuk the last time they played there, but that he thinks his team will play well this time.

“I think we have a great opportunity to show some redemption,” Berhow says. “I think we’re in a great position, we have some good competition, and it’s always good to play with good players they make you better.”

The Southeast conference meet is happening today. KCII will have results tomorrow.
