The Washington City Council is holding several hearings as part of their meeting tonight.  These hearings will discuss the 2011 electrical code as well as a resolution of support for a Community Development Block Grant.  They will also be holding a second reading of an ordinance to allow golf carts on city streets.

This second reading will include the changes from the last reading of allowing no one under the age of 18 to drive the carts and they must be equipped with seat belts.  A Comprehensive Plan Update will also be shared.  The Washington City Council meeting begins at 6:00 tonight in the old public library.
