The Washington City Council is discussing several ordinances and resolutions as part of their meeting tonight. There will be a third reading of an ordinance to allow golf carts on city streets. This reading will include the change of a slow moving vehicle sign installation requirement.
There will also be discussion and consideration of an ordinance to amend the city code regarding water rates and sewer usage charge. A public hearing date will be set for a fiscal year budget amendment as well as a hearing date for tax abatement.
The Council will also discuss the restructuring of the 2006 Tax Increment Financing Revenue Bond debt. The Washington City Council meeting is tonight at 6:00 in the old public library.
