The Washington County Board of Supervisors discussed different bids as part of their meeting yesterday.  The first bid discussion was for the approval of a schedule for the re-bidding of the Orchard Hill Building 1 Rehabilitation project.  This project will include a public hearing, a new bid award date as well as a new start and completion date of the project.

A bid was awarded of a grading project for approximately 5.3 miles of 105th Street from Gingko to Larch Avenue.  Out of three bidders, the winning bid was Cornerstone Excavating of Washington for almost $779,000.  The estimated amount for the project was $832,000.

The Supervisors also considered an approval of a cost allocation plan.  This plan comes from a Department of Human Services reimbursement.  At the end of the meeting, the Supervisors conducted an official canvass of last Tuesday’s primary election results.
