The Washington City Council is set to meet tonight and they will be discussing water rates as part of the meeting.  This discussion will involve a second reading of an ordinance to amend the city code to change these rates.  These rates will result in a zero net effect for customers this year while the city reallocates the percentages of the rates.

There will also be consideration of a resolution to set a public hearing date for a fiscal year 2012 budget amendment.  There will also be a consideration of bids on general obligation capital loan notes.  These notes will total $250,000.  The Washington City Council meeting begins at 6:00 tonight in the old public library.
