A local organization is looking to add members that want to help the community.  Community Chest of Washington Board of Directors member, Susan Wellington says Community Chest is a group that provides funding for nonprofit organizations that acts in a similar way as the United Way does in a larger city.

The Community Chest has been helping nonprofits since 1947, and currently supports many different area organizations.  Wellington adds they are looking to welcome additional groups for next year’s campaign.
