The Demon Baseball team scored a couple of conference wins last night after beating Keokuk 6-3 in game one, and in Tanner Knupp’s first varsity start winning 13-5.

The Demons have now won five in a row, starting with their upset over Williamsburg.

Head coach Nathan Miller says his teams confidence is high right now, and that is what is helping fuel them to these wins.

“I’m very pleased with last night’s performances, this team is starting to click a little bit and starting to play how they are capable of playing,” Miller said.”

Miller also added that it was a matter of just getting everything working at once as a team and individually.

“W are definitely playing better, and we are definitely competing better, and we’ve got our confidence going more than we have had in previous weeks,” Miller said. “I just keep telling the boys to continue to work hard and continue to push forward, and like I have always said they have the physical tools, they have the physical ability, and it just comes down to the mental side, and if they can combine those two things together their going to be a competitive group.”
