The Demon Softball team keeps their bats hot and working over time, as they beat Ft. Madison in both games 20-5 and 15-0.

The No. 10 Demons are 16-2 and could move up in the rankings with the wins.

In the first game the Demons scored in every inning of the short game, getting three in the first, four in the second, three in the third, two in the fourth and eight in the fifth, while they only gave up one big inning to the Bloodhounds in the second when they scored their only five runs of the night.

In the second game, the Demons were not as nice ending the game in three innings with one in the first, five in the second and nine in the fifth inning.

Washington is now fourth in the state, in all classes in batting average. The Demons play WACO tomorrow.

WACO is 4-8 on the season, hitting .258 on the season with just 68 runs. The team ERA is an even 4.00 led by Sara Conwell.
