Information from Washington County youth wishing to exhibit swine or feeder calves at the Ak-Sar-Ben Livestock Exhibition this year is due today.  Amy Green, Washington County 4‑H/Youth Coordinator says DNA samples, waivers and payments are due to her office by the end of the day.  She says youth will not be able to nominate through the Iowa State Fair process.

The Ak-Sar-Ben show is taking place in Omaha, Nebraska in September.  To get DNA collection envelopes and forms, contact Amy Green at the Washington County Extension.
